Wesley P. Easly is an investment industry professional with nearly 15 years experience specifically dedicated to the identification and acquisition of the nation's top investment management talent.

He brings a project-based management style and solutions driven mindset to the clients of ibr Search and is guided by an ever-present sense of urgency.

After departing from a decade-long career with an executive search firm where he was a practice leader in the Real Estate and Investments practice and a member of the company's executive committee, Wesley personally funded and formed ibr Search along with its sister company, Icebreaker Resources, which serves as a value-add consultancy to clients in various industries.

Serving as its daily tactical leader, ibr Search offers clients a dedicated, retained executive search partner operating in key geographic markets nationally and assists companies that desire to gain best in class talent for key leadership roles, succession planning as well as acquire up-and-coming talent for long-term strategic growth.

Wesley has been able to effectively devise client solutions and manage teams for businesses engaged in equity and debt finance, commercial real estate, retailing and investment fund management on a global basis, consulting directly to the board level. He also worked directly with pension trusts, fund advisory firms and Venture Capital and Private Equity firms assisting many of their portfolio companies achieve growth goals. He has also completed searches for publicly traded companies looking to expand their presence into new market verticals and global geographies.

Long standing personal executive relationships in the industry will remark at his ability to either directly or through teams he has led, guide both prospective executive-level employers and candidates alike through the search planning and execution process, tailoring the search effort to their needs and personal comfort.

He began his career as a real estate professional with a major retail REIT. Over the years, he was a featured speaker at many national investment symposiums as well as a committee member for several national professional organizations. He was frequently quoted in The Wall Street Journal, among other publications.

Mr. Easly holds a Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania.

Brian P. Shuppe is a founding member of ibr Search. As the director of research and CIO, he is principally responsible for market research and company/source development. He also leads the overall administration and technology management of the firm.

While spending six years in executive search prior to his nearly five years with ibr Search, Brian developed and refined various strategic research techniques that now assist ibr Search's recruiting team in developing tactical plans to satisfy our client companies executive talent needs across a diverse and evolving spectrum of investments and operating companies.

Born and raised in Columbus, OH, Brian obtained a Mechanical Engineering Degree from the University of Toledo. After relocating to Western Pennsylvania, he worked briefly in high-technology manufacturing before his matriculation to executive search. He then began working on the research team for Boyden Global Executive Search and was able to utilize this experience with a worldwide leader in global recruiting at the senior-most level to develop his own processes to be utilized later at ibr Search.

Later Brian worked for a 40-year old national executive search firm focused on the investment and real estate industries as a recruiting associate and where he also was the leader of their research-intensive executive search and business development endeavors. It was during these projects that he met and had the opportunity to work with Wes Easly, eventual founder of ibr Search. By marrying their complementary skills, Brian and Wes found new and more effective ways of serving their diverse client base.

Brian, his wife Toni and their daughter Savannah Mae, currently reside in Cranberry Township, PA.

Melanie Robb leverages over a decade of direct recruiting and team leadership experience to the benefit of ibr Search and our clients. She is responsible for client development and leading search teams directly.

Prior to her post with ibr Search, Melanie was the recruiting operations leader with a well-established Pittsburgh recruitment firm serving the healthcare industry. There, she was instrumental in understanding the requirements of and subsequently leading recruiting efforts for complex healthcare providers and the service firms catering to them.

She began her career as a recruiter with the Pittsburgh Technology Council. Drawing from a national talent pool, she assisted over 1,800 member firms in their recruitment needs for top-tier management and technical professionals within the technology industry. Upon leaving the Council, she served as the team lead and recruiter for two start-up companies during the dot.com boom. Melanie then honed her client-service skills during her tenure with Randstad North America, the second largest staffing and recruiting company in the world serving financial institutions and Fortune 500 firms with either headquarters or regional operations in Western Pennsylvania.

Melanie brings passion and enthusiasm backed by a diligent attitude and process-driven approach to garner results for the clients of ibr Search.

Melanie earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics, graduating cum laude from Mary Baldwin College in Staunton, Va.

A Western Pennsylvania native, Melanie currently resides in the South Side neighborhood of Pittsburgh.

Matthew "Butch" Edlinger of ibr Search, is an executive search professional having nearly 10 years experience specifically dedicated to the identification and acquisition of top executive and management talent. He is diligent and thorough in his work and it reflects in the results he garners for the clients of ibr Search.

Butch joined the firm in early 2009. During his tenure, Butch has completed searches for management and executive level positions in Real Estate, Construction, Manufacturing and the Financial Industries. For a period of six years, prior to becoming a member of the ibr Search team, he held recruiting, training and managerial roles of progressive responsibility for two of the largest recruiting firms in the country, including playing a key role in the nationwide launch of recruiting platforms for those firms. He successfully lead and completed search engagements in manufacturing, technology, IT and finance among other industries.

Prior to his work in executive search, Butch spent five years in Product Management and Sales in the sporting goods manufacturing industry. He holds a bachelor's Degree in Marketing from Ferris State University in Michigan. During and after college Butch was a top Tennis Teaching Professional having worked at several high-profile tennis clubs in New Jersey and Washington, DC. He has been able to capture the passion, competitive spirit and networking he learned in the tennis world and apply to our clients and their recruiting needs.
